McBee Football is an effort sponsored by the Town of McBee Recreation
Department to provide the sandhills region with a youth football program.
The following age groups are available for the 2005 season (players and
cheerleaders):
Small Fry – 8, 9, and 10
Mite – 11 and 12
Note: Age is as of November 30th, 2005.
The McBee Football program is a member of the Chesterfield county football
league, comprised of McBee, Chesterfield, Cheraw, and Pageland.
McBee will play home games at the McBee High School football stadium.
Registration will be conducted August 1st through August 19th (weekdays)
at McBee Townhall. A $26 registration fee ($20 program and $6
insurance) and a copy of a valid birth certificate are required for each
participant. The registration fee includes an insurance policy, the
cost of the policy is $6 for each participant and is valid for all sports
for 12 months. The insurance policy is required for players and
optional, but encouraged, for cheerleaders. Practice will start the
week of August 22nd, with games beginning in mid-September.
The Town of McBee Recreation Department will provide the required
equipment, excluding shoes (cleats), for the participants.
